About Dr. Alex

Dr. Stephen Alex is a graduate of the University of Rochester. He completed his General Surgery training at the University of California, San Francisco, and his orthopedic training and hand fellowship at the University of Pittsburgh in Pennsylvania. He is board-certified in orthopedic surgery with added qualifications in surgery of the hand.

He is a member of the American Academy of orthopedic surgery and the American society for surgery of the hand.

He currently manages his own independent practice in Miami. He is one of Miami’s top hand surgeons and is affiliated with the best hospitals in the region, including the Baptist health system.

Dr. Alex has practiced medicine for the past 30 years, developing broad expertise. His experience as a surgeon and innovator makes him a well-qualified provider of aesthetic treatments such as lasers, microneedling, injectables, and more.
